Q : How is FBetS different to other betting services?

A : Most tips from betting services are derived by using some formula, to come up with a suggested bet. Or, they say they have inside information, due to contacts in the sport, etc. The problem with this kind of tipping, is that the bookmakers also use formulas, or inside information to work out the odds/handicap. In the end, they are trying to out-do the professional handicappers. That’s why we believe that in the long run, it will even out, and the punter will eventually lose money, as the bookmakers take a small percentage on each bet.
Now, FBetS does not treat each game as a separate entity. Instead, we apply our strategies over the whole season. With our strategies, we can make profits by tipping less wins, than losses! We have tested the strategies over many seasons of data, and it always produces profits!

Q : When should I start...?

A : The ideal time to start is now! You can jump in at any time, but ideally you should start betting at the beginning of the season for each of your chosen leagues. This will put the least amount of pressure on your starting pool. If we think its too late in the FBetS season to join and make a great profit we will tell you, because we want you to make money. The NBA starts in October....this is our flagship league and the core of the FBetS system.....The NBA is where a large portion of your money will be made, and this is simply because there are more than 1200 games in the NBA season!.......for best results try not to miss the start of the NBA season..... However, just before the NBA starts the Australian NBL and European leagues commence. So if you have a Gold Pass and are going to include these as supplemental leagues in your personal betting strategy, these will be the leagues to kick off your FBetS season! In short start asap as every day missed is potential profit lost.

Q : Can I bet on any of the leagues?

A : Of course! If you have purchased the Gold Pass '08/'09 Membership you will have access to all the leagues that we feature in the Members Dashboard for the 2008/09 seasons.....and you can include any or all of them in your personal betting strategy. We recommend that the NBA forms the core of your strategy to make the most out of FBetS, and you use the other leagues to supplement your winnings.

Q : Why are some sports not included – like soccer ?

A : FBetS uses strategies, where we need betting options which have a 50% chance of a win. ie Line Bets, Total Game Bets (over/under). So, any sports that have a 3 options (win/loss/draw), can not be included in the FBetS strategies.

Q : NFL has line betting, total game score betting – how come it is not included?

A : NFL has a season where each team play only 16 games. FBetS uses strategies that uses streaks. The short season is not suited to the FBetS strategies, and therefore we do not include NFL. However, we are always working on ways on making profits on every possible avenues, and we have a few ideas we are working on, which may be finalised in the near future.....we will let you know!

Q : When should I place the bets?

A : We would advise the FBetS member to place the bets at the most convenient time for the member. That may be when the odds are released, or just before match is to commence, or any other time the member is comfortable with. Depending on the time you place your bet you may get slightlyt different lines to us but in the long run, we believe it makes no difference, as everything will even itself out. At FBetS, we like to place the bets as soon as the odds are released, so we don’t have to worry about missing out on any bets.

Q : Do you bet into the playoffs?

A : No. We categorise a season, as the regular season, and apply our strategies over the regular season. That way, we know exactly how many games each team is to play. During the playoffs, teams get eliminated, and therefore, exit out of our strategy after only a few games. FBetS strategies needs a good amount of games for each team, and therefore, the playoffs is not suited to the FBetS strategies. However, we have been working on strategies to apply in the playoffs, so we can extend our betting portfolio. We are very close to finalising strategies for the playoffs, and hope to have it ready for our members in the near future.....watch this space!

Q : What if I am unavailable to place bets for an extended period of time?

A : That is the reason why we advise members to form a syndicate. That way, you can share the cost of the membership, and also share the responsibility of placing the bets. If you don’t want to form a syndicate, or can’t form a syndicate, then you can try asking a friend or relative to place the bets for the duration of your absence. We also have the facility in the dashboard that enables you to track your " Bets Placed". Clicking on the green flags will change them to "Bet Placed" Icons, that way anyone in your syndicate can sign on, or you can come back later, and know what bets still need to be placed. .....However, all you really need to place the bets, is the internet....you can even bring up the FBetS Dashboard on your IPhone !

Q : What if I forget to place a few bets?

A : The seasons are long, and there are many bets to be placed. But, if you get into a routine, it should only take a maximum of a few minutes a day, to place all the bets. FBetS do recommend members to form a syndicate to share costs of membership, and share the responsibility of placing the bets. If you miss only a few bets, then hopefully, all will even itself out – ie you may save some money by not placing the bets, and you may have lost some money by not placing the bets. However, FBetS strongly advise the members to place ALL the bets that we post on the dashboard for your chosen leagues.

Q : Can I change the Profit Factor during the season?

A : FBetS recommend that you lock in your Profit Factor at the beginning of the season, and that you do NOT change the Factor for the entire season. The reason is that you may be producing a good profit, and decide to bump up the units. Then, if you have a bad run with the increased units, it may erase all the profits made to date, and may even start to produce losses. FBetS are very confident that we will produce profits every year if you heed our advice. That is why we believe in re-investing the profits from one year to the next, and start to produce compounding profits. ie HUGE profits in just a few seasons. with the compounding effect FBetS has produced 2045% in two years...thats right 2 thousand and fourty five percent!
